Mista Don't Play? (...) right, son! February 28, 2001 Skeletor (USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Every track, DJ Paul and Da Juice bring it. Still keepin it project, still keeping it Memphis. They're unstoppable. Pat grows on this album, and his flow will kill you at times. I had anticipated this disc for a month or so before it came out, and it was everything I was hoping it to be. I am so please with this CD, and can't even describe it. Thank YOU Hypnotize!!! Another platinum plaque!!

Aint'no rapper like Project Pat. Project Pat is definitely one of the top rappers right now becauase of his unique rapping technique and tone. This cd is one of the best cds I've ever heard. All of the songs on this album got tight beats and lyrics. If you don't have this cd you need to find a way to get one as soon as possible.
.....Them new Jordans bout to come out April 3, 2001 J. Highsmith (Mitchellville, Maryland United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have to admit, if I hadn't have bought Three 6 Mafia's "When The Smoke Clears....", I probably would not have bought this release from Project Pat. Three 6 Mafia really impressed me with their CD, so I decided to take a chance on another Hypnotize Minds offering. After I heard the song "Chickenhead" w/LA Chat & Three 6 Mafia, my choice was a lot easier. "Mista Don't Play: Everythang's Working" is an impressive CD from Project Pat. Anyone that liked Three 6 Mafia's "When The Smoke Clears...." will like this CD. You don't have to worry about a fast forward button at all. You can play this CD all the way through with no questions. "Break Da Law 2001" w/Three 6 Mafia is also on Funkmaster Flex's Volume 4: 60 Minutes Of Funk CD and is a nice collaboration between Project Pat and 3-6. It makes you wonder why Project Pat didn't rap on 3-6's CD. Other gems include "We Can Get Gangsta", "If You Ain't From My Hood" with DJ Paul & Juicy J, "Don't Save Her", "North North" and the surprising "Life We Live" which starts off as an r&b track and leaves you wondering if this is a mistake on this CD but quickly turns into a tight song that actually makes you think. If you like Hypnotize Minds, Three 6 Mafia, or Southern rap in general, this is a nice CD to have in your collection. Believe me, you won't be disappointed.
Bumpin, of the chain, mane February 28, 2001 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Project comes grimmy on this one. If you liked Ghetty Green don't even think twice about buying this one its great. Paul and Juicy always lace Pat with the hottest beats, and Pats flows are just butter. His stories are vivid, and his partying and smoking songs are great back drops for a night of optis and syrup. It puzzles me how he comes up with some of his lyrics, the man is amazing and one of my favorites of all time. He frequently changes his flow too, speeding it up and slowing it down, its brillant. If you got a system buy this fo sure. Chicken Heads, Cheese and Dope, Don't Save Her, So High,Ski Mask, and We Aint Scared Hoe are some of my favorites. I love how Paul and Juicy are always changing the beats in the middle of songs too. This is one of the best down south rap releases in a long time, hyptnotize minds has done it again, pick this up fo sure mane. And if you don't, "You can duck from the teck out the Escalade".
