4 out of 5 stars Its good, not great tho   May 25, 2010
R. Frankson (Windsor, CT United States)
This is a pretty good Album. Not Weezey's best work, but thats ok. He's new to Rock, and is still trying to find his style. The best songs on this album are the ones where he raps, and somebody else does the chourus. Ex: One way trip ft. Kevin Rudolf and Knockout ft. Nicki Minaj. Knockout is the first song I dont totally regret hearing Nicki's verse. Hopefully this wont be his only attempt at Rock. It would be interesting to see where he takes it from here. Again, good start weezey.

So as i can see there are a lot of people that diliked this album,,,, but as for me i love lil waynes's work but i am also a fan of many genres of music and i really enjoyed this album but i think that it is so diff from anything that he has ever done that it put alot of his fans off but if ur a fan of rock or punk or even a little techno ull like it but be aware weezy fans listen before u buy u might be upset...........

4 out of 5 stars Rock on Lil Wayne   August 7, 2010

I don't have some indepth review but I just want to say I went into this album just listening to the samples and liking the Rock/Rap sound. I like Lil Wayne, he's got a unique voice and combined with some cool guitar and good beats make this, in my opinion, a really good album. Rock on man..

This album is nothing near what I had expected, it's very very different. I track for track, I just prefer hip hop style beats. The first two tracks are my favorite apart from the one with Em. He definitely wanted to try something different, which people should respect. I think that if you're looking for a Carter 3 part two, don't buy this album.

I would have to say that this....i wish lil wayne would stick to rapping. I cant say i dont like this album but the auto tune is too much on some songs before the album they put auto tune on his voice and it sounds good but on this Rebirth it is just too much it drowns out his voice. i do like the albumm and it does have some good tracks, and the production is great. but now that i have this and his latest mixtpae no ceilings. I would have to say i cant put no ceilings down it is awsome but this isnt anything i will be listening too alot. I give him credit for his creativity but he is just so much better at doing hip hop music.
